Carbon is an essential element used as a conductive additive and active material in all types of battery chemistries. Currently, there is an urgent for graphite and hard carbon materials produced in Europe. Currently, carbon materials are imported from countries, which dominate the bulk of the market for graphite, hard carbon and carbon black. The project aims to make contributions to the effort to create sustainable value chain for battery industries in Europe.
