Relevance for Batteries Sweden | The overall aim of this project is to develop and implement methods and methodology for investigating battery materials. This project directly connects to BASE goal to create and validate science-based analysis and characterization methods for the Swedish battery community. The project aims to offer all BASE partners comprehensive workflows from sample preparation via in-depth and specialized state-of-the-art characterization to data analysis, along with key insights into materials behavior in working cells. The focus is on the combination of operando techniques using X-ray spectroscopy, scattering and imaging. The project will make use of both in-house lab-based methods as well as instrumentation at large scale facilities, such as MAXIV or ESRF. |
